Well...the countdown is officially ON!
I have (hopefully less than) 10 weeks to go. 10 weeks. Let's be honest here...that slightly freaks me out.
You know in the Bible in Genesis when you read about how God created the light and the darkness, and how you can't really wrap your mind around what it was like without the presence of either of those? Or when you try to really think about eternity, and how long that really is? That's basically how I feel about what is actually happening to me. I really just don't "get" that this is going on. Maybe that's a good thing and that it is keeping me sane right now...but it's very weird.
I am so excited that I get to see Eli soon. I love him so much! I love feeling him and talking to him, but I am definitely over this pregnancy...and I still have 10 weeks to go!
I'll post pictures when Wes gets home with the camera. And I go to the doctor again on Wednesday for a checkup! 10 weeks...

Here are my two cents:
Remark your calendar and make it TWELVE WEEKS!
Chances that you'll go over are very high. It's healthiest for the baby and first-time-mommies body parts if it takes it's time. That ten weeks is an average ... for all mothers ... in all pregnancies.
Just saying. You'll get crazier and crazier in the last four. I speak from crazy pregnant woman experience. So, move that date back on the calendar so you'll be pleasantly surprised ... instead of ripping out the eyeballs of those around you who dare to ask, "Are you still pregnant?!?"
Not that I ever did that or anything ... ever.
1.) Eli is almost here! I am super-excited for you.
2.) I started a blog! Yay!
(No advice from me... I got tired of others always telling me what I should or shouldn't be doing.. so, now I just get excited for my friends. If you have any questions though.. just let me know.)
How exciting!!!
I think we're both in the middle of unbelievably exciting countdowns!
